THANK YOU LA WORKS!
Thanks to a partnership between LA Works and Forest City, Alexander Science Center School had a team of volunteers come in over the summer to help make our school more beautiful! These kind and generous organizations designed and painted a mural in our Kinder Yard; bringing cheer and color to our grey walls. They also worked on benches, our storage bins, and our garden. Thank you LA Works and Forest City for making our school a happier and more colorful place to learn!

Schoolwide Science Lab Walks
Our students have a school-wide Science Lab walk through every Science Cycle (once a trimester). They have the opportunity to view other grade levels' projects, science notebooks, and have discussions about what they see. Parents can view their child's Science Lab during parent conference week.
