Schoolwide Science Lab Walks
Our students have a school-wide Science Lab walk through every Science Cycle (once a trimester). They have the opportunity to view other grade levels' projects, science notebooks, and have discussions about what they see. Parents can view their child's Science Lab during parent conference week.
Jump Rope For Heart!
Our students are participating in our annual Jump Rope For Heart to encourage students to keep their hearts healthy and to raise lifesaving donations to help people with "special hearts".
Please help us reach our goal! You can return donation envelopes to the Main Office or click here to join Team Ted Alexander Science Center School and donate through the American Heart Association.
Thank you from the bottom of our HEARTS!
5th grade invited to see "Hidden Figures"
Producer Michael Barnathan of 1492 films along with actress, Octavia Spencer, provided our fifth grade students with free movie tickets, lunch and popcorn. The movie featured a team of African-American women who provided NASA with important mathematical data needed to launch the program's first successful space missions.
